Dallas, TX, October 16, 2020 – Regan Capital, an investment advisor that seeks to deliver superior risk-adjusted returns through fixed income securities, today announced the hiring of Catherine Hicks, Director of Institutional Sales. Regan Capital invests on behalf of endowments, foundations, financial institutions, family offices and individuals. Regan offers its services via a mutual fund, limited partnerships and managed accounts. Regan is led by Skyler Weinand, CFA, who previously served as head of residential and consumer asset-backed trading at Cantor Fitzgerald. Regan is tapping Catherine Hicks’ considerable experience and expertise to build its distribution across all products.
Over the last decade, Ms. Hicks has successfully built asset bases for alternative investments in multiple asset classes. Prior to joining Regan, Ms. Hicks was with Altegris/Artivest where she managed institutional sales in public and private fund products, raising hundreds of millions in new assets. Before joining Altegris /Artivest, Ms. Hicks was a Director with Carolina Financial Group, a boutique investment banking firm. There, she placed private capital with institutional and retail investors in private funds and co-investments.

Ms. Hicks holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Wake Forest University, a Master’s degree in Music from Westminster Choir College and a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in Organ from Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music/University of Cincinnati. Ms. Hicks will be based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
